How the furnace repair-or-replace call really works
It's the same honest math we use for repair vs. replace on the AC side: weigh the cost of the repair against the remaining value and reliability of the furnace, plus one factor cooling doesn't have, safety. It's a decision, not a sales pitch, and once the numbers are on the table the answer is usually obvious.
The four factors that decide it
