Victor Pozos started AC American Air in 2011 with one van and a simple idea: show up on time, fix the problem right, and charge a fair price. Fifteen years later, that has not changed. We are still family-owned, still based right here in San Antonio, and still answering the phone when you call.
Every technician on our team is licensed (TACLA36546E) and background-checked. We charge $85 for a full diagnostic, and we tell you exactly what is wrong and what it costs before we touch anything. No surprise fees. No upselling you a system you do not need.

Are there any default charges or fees?
$85 by default.
What is the reason for the service call fee?
We are a small family run company, The service fee is to ensure our technicians are paid and to help balance out costs. This fee is less than the general market rate.
How long do we have to wait to get a technician to our house?
We strive to get to calls as soon as we can. For emergencies we normally are able to review and assess the problem the day of or after you call in.
How often should I get my system inspected/cleaned?
We recommend having your system tuned up at least twice a year. We offer a preventative maintenance plan that is two cleanings for $160 per year.
What is the Warranty for my system?
By default we have a parts warranty that lasts 10 years. Every system comes with 1 year labor warranty and we also offer 5 or ten year options.
How often do I need to change my air filter?
It’s recommended that you check your filter every other month or so and then replace as needed.
Why are you using R-454B and not R-410A?
R-410A equipment and refrigerant are slowly being phased out for R-454B which is more efficient and environmentally friendly.
